BURTON Albion Community Trust (BACT) are delighted to launch their new look October Half Term sports camps for children aged 5-12 years old. They are offering both Soccer Schools and Multi Sports Camps at the Burton Albion Community Football Centre starting from Monday 26th October.
The programme provides boys and girls the chance to choose whether to take part in a variety of sports including dodgeball, rounders, football, cricket, athletics and much more on the Multi Sports Camps or for those that just want to focus on football, they can sign up to the Soccer Schools.
Katie Johnson, Primary Schools Manager, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer both types of holiday camps this half term to allow children to stay physically active in a safe and fun environment. Some children love sport but like to take part in a range of different sports, so by offering the Multi Sports Camps as well as the Soccer Schools we are able to offer something for more children.”
Throughout the programme there will be opportunities for the children to take part in skills challenges, competitions, and much more.
All sessions will be delivered by fully qualified BACT coaches and will adhere to the social distancing measures that have been put in place, including bubbles of a maximum of 15 children throughout each stage of delivery.
The October programme is an advanced booking only with limited spaces available. The Multi Sports Camps run from 8.30am -3pm and the Soccer Schools run from 9am – 3.30pm both costing just £12 per day.
