Are you passionate about a career in the football industry? The online distance-learning football coaching and development course will provide you with all the insight knowledge needed to work within a professional football club. The degree works in partnership with the University of South Wales and Football League Trust to give you the skills and qualities needed to work within the community departments of a professional football club or national governing body. During the degree you will learn about children and youth coaching, football  coaching, football development, social inclusion, and sports management skills.

You will gain regular coaching opportunities within Burton Albion Community Trust, alongside, gaining a FA Level 2 Award in Coaching Football within the first year. In the second year you will complete 200 hours of coaching to give you the vital skills for a career in youth coaching, football development, sport science or performance analysis.

Entry requirements:

  • Level 1 in football coaching
  • 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English at Grade C or above
  • 160 UCAS points
