I’ve signed up via an official BACT Lottery canvasser, what happens next?

Firstly thanks for your support, it is very much appreciated. Within the next 3 weeks you will receive your welcome letter, which features your personal Lottery numbers. Please keep this safe

What should I do if I don’t receive my welcome pack within 3 weeks?

Please contact a member of the Lottery team via lottery@burtonalbionct.org or 01283 899019 should this happen

When does my DD get taken?

Direct Debits are taken on the first of the month or the nearest working day thereafter.

Where do the proceeds of the lottery go?

Beyond paying for reasonable operational costs and a contribution to the prize pot, all profits go towards support the delivery of Burton Albion Community Trust’s community programme. For more information please visit www.burtonalbioncommunitytrust.co.uk

What do I do if I want to cancel?

Please contact us here at BACT email to lottery@burtonalbionct.org or 01283 899 019 a minimum of 10 working days before the 1st of the month and your DD will not be processed

If you cancel with your bank then your Direct Debit will be automatically cancelled, but this will result in BACT being charged

Can I reduce my membership, but not cancel?

Yes, you can. We recognise you may wish to change your support and respect this. All you need to do is contact BACT via lottery@burtonalbionct.org or 01283 899 019

Please be aware that you must inform us by ten working days before the 1st of the month of next payment so we can inform the bank. Any later and we will have to wait until the next month and your original amount will be processed

Where do I check for the results?

The draw takes place every Wednesday afternoon. Results will be displayed on a variety of platforms including the BACT website and social media platforms.

Results will stay visible on the website for a minimum of 3 months. Should you require results from further back, please do not hesitate to contact us

What do I do if I win?

Simply, nothing. We will write to you to inform you of the good news within 3 weeks of the draw. The letter will contain your winning cheque. Congratulations!

Do I have to publicise my winnings?

No, you are not obliged to. That said we would very much like to publicise your success should you want to. On receipt of your winnings, you may be contacted by a member of staff at the BACT Lottery in the hope that you may provide a quote or photograph. These would be used on the official BACT website and social media platforms to promote the Lottery
