FIRST Team players Colin Daniel and Kieran Wallace have got into the festive swing of things, joining staff from Burton Albion Football Club and Community Trust to visit and celebrate the partnership with local business LCS Containers.

LCS Containers, who originate from the family owned Leavesley Group have developed into an established multi-national trading group, are celebrating nearly 100 years of trading. They have now worked in partnership with Burton Albion for a number of years and will be furthering their support by offering their commitment to Burton Albion Community Trust’s work in the local community.

During the visit, the Brewers players met staff members and switched on their annual Christmas lights display, before taking their time to pose for photographs and have a guided tour of their seven-acre headquarters, based on adjacent to the A38 in Branston.

LCS Containers have also recently agreed to sign-up to one of BACT’s ‘Friends of Community’ packages and will receive yearly benefits from working closely and supporting the work that BACT deliver’s in East Staffordshire and surrounding area.

Matt Hancock, Head of Community, said: “LCS Containers are Club Albion members and have several advertising boards at the ground, as well as recently becoming BACT Friends of the Community.

“They have been supporting the club for several years and we are delighted to have them as one of our partners.”
