LOCKDOWN has heavily impacted all group and face to face sessions within the last year. Building Better Opportunities Evolve are finding alternatives methods to engage with participants leading into 2021.

Maintaining long term goals as well as helping unemployed individuals to gain employment or directing them towards local training opportunities, Burton Albion CT are providing remote support that targets individuals to improve their communication skills, confidence levels and networks of support.

Active Employability sessions will be running on Tuesdays from January 2021, where both 1-2-1 and group sessions will be available.  This will focus on educating a more active and healthier lifestyle before moving into employment or training. Keep an eye out for our Active Employability timetable where you will be able to get a preview of what the sessions will be included.

Dan Brooks, Employability Coordinator, said: “This online session is aimed to support individuals who are unemployed and wish to improve their health or well-being to gain a more active lifestyle.

“We will assist with goal setting, dieting, budgeting money, calorie counting and the importance of hydration. 1-2-1 and group sessions will be available from January 2021, all sessions will link with the current employability support that is also provided throughout BBO Evolve by BACT staff”.

All support is FREE!
