BURTON Albion Community Trust are pleased to announce that we will be supporting local charity Derek’ Tree this Christmas to put smiles on children’s faces.
Derek’s Tree is based in Burton upon Trent and every year collects presents for disadvantaged kids in the local community in and around Burton upon Trent. Presents are collected for local organisations such as Barnado’s, Homestart and many more.
Unfortunately, this year is anticipated to be a record year for the charity, so much so they kicked off their campaign early, they have had over 3000 requests for presents to date with more coming in daily. The charity will officially end donations on Sunday 13th December. Then on December 14/15th the gifts will be whisked off to the recipients.
This year the Burton Albion Family will be supporting Derek’s tree and encouraging donations from members of the 1st team squad, Ladies Team, Academy sides and staff from Burton Albion FC and Burton Albion Community Trust.
We would also welcome community support and are encouraging as many community members as people to support us.
SO how do you get involved with our campaign?
🎄 Purchase any item from the list below or the Amazon wish list link and then have it delivered to Burton Albion Football Club, Pirelli Stadium, Princess Way, DE13 0AR and in the name add Derek’s Tree we will know it’s a donation then.
🎄With current restrictions in place we would ask you NOT to hand deliver items, if the restrictions and guidance change will communicate this as soon as possible.
🎄The deadline for all Burton Albion Donations is 12noon on Friday 11th December, were then going to donate them to the charity ready for delivery on the 14th / 15th December.
🎁 Any baby toys, lego, peppa pig toys, lol dolls, toiletry sets for girls and boys, craft sets 7-10 years, amazon vouchers, book vouchers, paw patrol toys, Disney princess dolls, make up sets, slime, board games for 12-17-year olds, hot wheels sets, duplo.
