AS you will be aware, the Coronavirus outbreak has had an unprecedented impact on all aspects of daily life and the Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) Lottery is no different.

Firstly, BACT would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and involvement in the lottery, however, certain changes have had to be put in place for the foreseeable future of the BACT Lottery.

The health and wellbeing of our staff is at the forefront of our minds and considering this, BACT have made decision to pause the majority of our canvassing campaigns and put the safeguarding of our staff at the forefront of what we do.

BACT are very keen to try to retain some kind of normality and ensure that the valuable funds we raise to support our community initiatives are kept intact as much as possible.

With that in mind, BACT has been liaising with it’s partner lottery provider NYCDA, and have now taken the steps to temporarily reduce the prize fund for the duration of the outbreak. This will be reduced to £1275 from the 22nd April.

This means that participants will be able to still win a £1000 jackpot, weekly £100, £50, £25 and £10 prizes and non-cash prizes, which will continue to provide crucial funds for our community and Player Development initiatives.
