BACT is a registered charity and an award-winning organisation. Our aim is to ‘make a difference to our communities through the power of sport and the brand of Burton Albion.’ We deliver this through our Five Scopes of Work: Health & Wellbeing, Education & Learning, School Sport, Football Development, and Inclusive Sport.

We have four strategic aims which are to: Deliver High Quality, Create a Positive Journey, Measure & Evidence Our Impact, and Govern & Lead Effectively.

We engage with over 8,000 people per week with a commitment to ensure all members of our community are serviced in some way by BACT.

BACT is open to the whole community and is totally inclusive. We cater for people of any age, background, sexuality, and ethnicity. Our youngest participant is 24 months old, and our oldest participant is over 90 years old. BACT engages with all communities and has a proven track record with delivering programmes in deprived and hard to reach areas.

We pride ourselves in creating pathways for individuals from a young age, such as volunteering opportunities, apprenticeships, foundation degrees, and work placements, as well as building skills to provide opportunities to become better people.
