THROUGHOUT the Covid-19 lockdown, BACT have continued to support individuals furthest away from the labour market, through the Building Better Opportunities Evolve Project.

Remote support is available for individuals who are furthest away from the job market, who are actively searching for work or those who are currently not in education, employment or training. Staff also encourage individuals to set goals, build new support networks and build their daily routine.

Anybody who requires CV & IT support, job searching guidance, being signposted to local employment or training providers and building confidence and self-esteem with interview techniques can also access this with our staff at BACT.

Completing video and telephone calls, staff aim to support people who are currently unemployed and transition them back into the working environment. This includes enhancing skills and signposting towards relevant training providers that are accessible throughout the week dependent on what type of employability support is required.

The National Lottery Community Fund is the largest community funder in the UK – we’re proud to award money raised by National Lottery players to communities across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Since June 2004, we have made over 200,000 grants and awarded over £9 billion to projects that have benefited millions of people. We’re privileged to be able to work with the smallest of local groups right up to UK-wide charities, enabling people and communities to bring their ambitions to life.
