CALLING all golf lovers. Here’s your chance to swing into action to support Burton Albion Community Trust and get the chance to play alongside your favourite Brewers first team players.

BACT is organising its first-ever Golf Day with a full 18 holes of play at Branston Golf Club and some exciting challenges along the way.

It’s a great chance for companies and organisations to show their support for the great work that BACT does in the community, while at the same time enjoying a fantastic day out and getting the chance to network with like-minded business people.

Teams of four will also be joined for some of the play by members of the Brewers first team, giving you the chance to chat football and find out what it’s like to be part of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s Brewers squad.

April 27th is the date for your diary but please book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.

The event will be held at Branston Golf Club and ACE Golf will be providing course support including a live scoring app, on course trick shots and hole-in-one challenges.

Matt Hancock, Burton Albion Community Trust Head of Community, said: “We are extremely excited to be working with Branston Golf Club to deliver what will be a fantastic day of golf, networking and community partnerships. This is the first time Burton Albion Community Trust has run a golf day and we hope it is the first of many.”

Paul Gaskin, Burton Albion Community Trust Community Engagement Manager, said: “This is a great opportunity for BACT to bring together our valued partners as well as develop new partnerships with local businesses and organisations. The event is set to be an amazing day of golf with the addition of some exciting on course specials. We look forward to seeing you there.”
