Do you have a background in governance? Have you ever thought about becoming a board of trustee member? We are looking for an individual who has skills and experience that can help provide effective governance to Burton Albion Community Trust.

A key duty of a Trustee is to to uphold the values, objectives and the policies of the Trust. They have collective responsibility for the strategic direction and to ensure the charity is operating in accordance with the Articles of Association, regulatory requirements including the Charities Act 2011 and all other associated legislation. Trustees will act with integrity and avoid any personal conflicts of interest.

The Kickstart Scheme is a programme launched by the government to offer new job roles for 16-24 years olds who are currently in receipt of Universal Credit. The programme is aimed at preventing young people who are currently unemployed facing long term unemployment.
